This position is designated as work-from-home.
Description:
As proposal manager, you will support Synergy's Business Development and Proposal departments in responding to RFIs, RFPs, and other formal responses. The successful candidate will have experience in managing one or more concurrent proposals, follows a structured process and to ensure compliance with proposal requirements, and maintains a positive attitude and willingness to support the team.
Essential Functions & Duties:
* Manage preparation and delivery of compliant, professionally produced proposals
* Shred solicitation documents and create proposal template
* Collaborate with technical writers to create proposal content
* Research and utilize existing content to develop new proposal content
* Create and execute a proposal project plan
* Conduct market and competitor research
* Hold kick-off and debrief meetings
* Act as point of contact for partners
* Gather and send follow-up and clarifying questions to the agency
* Ensure proposals and presentations are brand compliant
* Report proposal progress to executive management
* Maintain the RFP response database
* Be the administrator for the company's RFP management software
* Coordinate and edit proposal input from a variety of resources
Skills, Qualifications and Certifications of Best Candidates:
* Familiarity with Federal government contracting procedure
* Strong time management skills
* Strong written English language skills
* Good data tracking and analysis skill
* Good writing, editing and reviewing skill
* High level of proficiency in MS Office, MS SharePoint
* Shipley training/certification (APMP Foundation or Practitioner)
Citizenship or Work Authorization Required:US Citizen
Preferred Education: Bachelor's Degree
Preferred Experience: 2-5 years of experience as a proposal manager/coordinator in Federal government contracting IT sector.
Compensation for roles at Synergy varies depending on a wide variety of factors including but not limited to the requirements of the role; education and certifications; knowledge, training, skills and abilities; level of experience; geographic location; and alignment with market data, law, and other business and organizational needs.As required by local law, the posted pay range represents the lowest to the highest pay that Synergy believes in good faith it might pay for this particular job, depending on the circumstances. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
