Collaboration Tech I Terms - W2 Contract to Hire
Pay Range: $27.40 to $30.28 per hour. Location: *Remote but must live in PST time zone* Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Collaboration Tech I to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in the administration and support of Microsoft 365 services, ensuring seamless collaboration and communication across the organization. This role involves working closely with various departments to manage and optimize our Microsoft 365 environment. Key Responsibilities: * Microsoft 365 Administration: Assist in the administration of Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, and Microsoft Teams. * User Support: Provide technical support to end-users for Microsoft 365-related issues, including troubleshooting and resolving problems with email, file sharing, and collaboration tools. * Account Management: Assist in the creation, management, and deactivation of user accounts, ensuring proper access controls and permissions are in place. * Training and Documentation: Develop and deliver training materials and sessions for end-users to enhance their understanding and utilization of Microsoft 365 tools. Maintain up-to-date documentation of processes and procedures. * Security and Compliance: Assist with anti-spam rules, quarantine management, and collaborate with the security administrator to ensure the security and compliance of Microsoft 365 services. * Collaboration Tools Optimization: Work with various departments to identify opportunities for improving collaboration and productivity using Microsoft 365 tools. Implement best practices and optimize configurations to meet organizational needs. * Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor the performance and usage of Microsoft 365 services, generating reports and providing insights to management for continuous improvement. * Project Support: Participate in projects related to the deployment and enhancement of Microsoft 365 services, including migrations, upgrades, and new feature implementations. Qualifications: * Education: Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft 365 Certified: Fundamentals) are a plus. * Experience: 1-2 years of experience in IT support or administration, with a focus on Microsoft 365 services. * Technical Skills: Basic understanding of Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, and Microsoft Teams. Familiarity with PowerShell scripting is a plus. * Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users. * Problem-Solving: Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues. * Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a team environment, collaborating with colleagues and stakeholders across the organization. * Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities. Secondary Skills - Nice to Haves: * Elevated tickets related to Microsoft 365 environment that help desk isn't able to support * Creating SharePoint sites, resolving Teams issues, resolving OneDrive issues, users who don't understand how to use OneDrive * Exchange: Basic understanding of navigating Exchange and looking through quarantined emails as needed * Anti-spam problems - especially during acquisitions * User Creation: Active Directory and Azure Active Directory - understanding the connections there * Implementing new tools in collaboration - Viva, Copilot - willing to learn new processes and teach others as they learn *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
