100% Remote

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Consultant to support the robust Salesforce platform developed for HUD Central's Contact Center. This enterprise-level contact center, with over 120 representatives handling calls, serves as the "front door" for all offices under the FHA/HUD umbrella. The successful candidate will bring a strategic vision and technical expertise to enhance the platform, build out new features, and integrate advanced Salesforce capabilities, including AI and chatbots.

Job Details:



  • Location: 100% Remote (Proximity to Washington, D.C. is a plus)
  • Duration: 6 month contract to hire
  • Clearance Requirements: U.S. Citizen; GSA and HUD Public Trust clearance (requires good financial history, clean criminal record, and drug test)


Key Responsibilities:




  • Strategic Leadership (70%)



    • Define and guide the strategic direction of the Salesforce platform.
    • Communicate with clients to evaluate requests and identify feasible solutions.
    • Provide leadership to a team of six developers, ensuring effective implementation and alignment with HUD's objectives.



  • Delivery (30%)



    • Contribute to platform development, including coding and sprint activities.
    • Deliver features such as chatbots and AI capabilities, expanding the platform's functionality.




Qualifications:




  • Must-Haves:



    • Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of experience (6+ years with a Master's degree).
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Strong expertise in Salesforce Contact Center Operations and Architecture (Salesforce Architect Certification required).
    • Knowledge of contact center processes, including KPIs, call delivery technologies, and call recording systems.
    • Proven experience in federal environments, particularly within large Salesforce platforms (e.g., VA call centers).
    • Ability to identify and implement AI capabilities within Salesforce.




Plusses:



  • Experience with Salesforce AI, chatbots, and emerging technologies.
