Overview $5,000 Sign On Bonus for External Candidates As a member of the interdisciplinary team, contributes professional knowledge and skills in the provision and management of care to patients and their families. Maintains a practice environment that reflects excellence in Paramedicine at UnityPoint Health within the structure of the Professional Nurse Practice Model, within the Scope of Practice for Iowa Paramedics and in collaboration with other care givers. Provides patient care defined by the Scope of Practice for Paramedics and/or Critical Care Paramedics in Iowa and as authorized by the LifeFlight Medical Director. Participate in patient and family teaching and provides leadership by working cooperatively with other health care team members. Collaborates with physicians and other health care workers to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care while maintaining standards for professionalism in the clinical setting. Will perform duties in the hospital setting, out of hospital setting, aircraft and ground ambulance. Successful performance contributes to a holistic approach to the delivery of services, improved patient care and a high level of satisfaction from patients and families.
