Description Position Summary: Bongards is looking for an energetic, motivated and dedicated individual to join our production team as a Wrapper Relief Operator. This position will be on the Day Shift. Job duties: Operate the Hart wrappers used to wrap process cheese slices. Produce quality wrapped packages. Keep wrappers in good operating condition. Relieve all wrapper operators for breaks. Responsible for training new wrappers. Must be able to operate the wrappers safely. Assist maintenance with troubleshooting on all wrappers. Assure the proper label is on the cheese packages. Assure the proper information is printed on the packages. Check all bottom and end seals for quality. Perform sanitation duties as assigned. Must report all food safety and quality concerns to immediate supervisor or their designated replacement. All other duties as assigned by the supervisor or lead. Other requirements: Must demonstrate a commitment to both food and employee safety. Must be fully proficient on all operations of the wrappers. Must be able to train other employees on proper operation of the wrappers Must demonstrate exceptional communication skills. Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions. Physical capabilities: Must be able to lift up to 38 pounds occasionally Must be able to lift 5 pounds frequently.
