Position Purpose |
To serve as the first contact with the Health Service for students and visitors by responding to questions and inquiries on a broad range of clinical and administrative issues by telephone or in person. |

Required Qualifications - Education and Yrs Exp |
Associates or equivalent combination of education and experience |
Required Qualifications - Skills, Knowledge and Abilities |
Associate Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Two years in a medical office or related setting.
Competency with standard computer applications, including
e-mail.
Ability to understand and observe strict confidentiality.
Demonstrated proficiency managing high phone volume.
Strong and empathetic listening skills.
Accuracy and attention to detail.
Demonstrated team player.
Commitment to diversity and to serving the needs of a diverse population. |
Preferred Qualifications |
Prior experience in a health care setting preferred.
Prior experience with computerized appointment system. |
