Job Description


* Work with Director, Training & Education and internal/external customers to identify educational needs throughout organization; coordinate to organize educational forums such as workshops, internal meetings, in-services, etc. for full-range of customers.

* Develop and present educational material covering full range of Invacare Mobility products according to Invacare's Educational Standards, policies and procedures

* Develop presentation materials including: visual materials, handouts, video, e-learning modules, etc.

* Develop assessment tools for training.

* Develop and administer onboarding modules for new hires.

* Develop Clinical Selling Modules and/or competitive comparisons with clinical focus for specialty controls and power positioning.

* Serve as content expert and speaker for internal and external continuing education programs, professional conferences, trade shows, etc.

* Lead compliance for the ANSI/IACET standard for Continuing Education and Training. This includes managing and facilitating a periodic review process for the Continuing Education & Training program to ensure adherence and quality standards of the program.

* CEU Program Management- Manage relationship between IVC and UPITT, registration, evaluations, certificates & platform. Research, develop, submit and present customer training that is CEU credit eligible by the University of Pittsburgh, NRRTS, Resna or other accredited organizations as appropriate.

* Provide live and web-based education programs to Invacare customers and allied health professionals.

* Attend and participate at selected national conventions and expositions and, if required, regional and local events.

* Ability to independently operate a motor vehicle.

* Complete all required training applicable to assigned position.

* Exhibit positivity, flexibility, creativity, and a willingness to take on new responsibilities as requested or required.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's Degree in business or health/medicine related field

* 5+ years clinical work experience, including hands on experience with complex equipment application.

* Previous training program development experience.

* Experience with web-based learning systems, videoing, graphics for training.

* Knowledge of the medical device industry and product lines.

* Ability to present to large groups in a workshop and professional meeting setting.

* Excellent presentation skills and creativity to engage trainees.

* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

* Ability to prioritize and work independently.

* Ability and willingness to travel extensively.

* Ability to lift/maneuver 50-100+ pounds.
