About the Estate Administration Specialist Position:
The Estate Administration Specialist will assist attorneys and legal teams in tasks related to estate planning, trust administration, and probate law. This role involves a combination of administrative, legal, and client-facing responsibilities to ensure smooth operations and high-quality service delivery.


Essential functions for the Estate Administration Specialist:
  • The Estate AdministrationSpecialist will assist attorneys with preparing and finalizing estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and advanced directives.
  • Manage client communications, including scheduling appointments, answering inquiries, and providing status updates.
  • Organize and maintain client files, both physical and electronic, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with legal standards.
  • Support attorneys in trust administration and probate matters by gathering financial documents, drafting correspondence, and preparing filings.
  • Conduct legal research as needed to support case development.
  • Monitor case progress and deadlines to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Provide administrative support, including managing calendars, preparing billing information, and processing payments.
Preferred Requirements & Qualifications for the Estate Administration Specialist:
  • Previous experience in estate planning, trust administration, or a legal support role preferred.
  • The Estate AdministrationSpecialist should possess proficiency in legal terminology and understanding of estate planning and probate processes.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a client-focused approach.
  • Proficiency in legal practice management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Paralegal certification or relevant legal training is a plus.
