Acara Solutions is seeking highly qualified candidates to work ON-SITE with our client in Merritt Island, FL. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

  • As an AIT Technician, you will be an integral part of our aerospace manufacturing team.
  • Your responsibilities include equipment set-up, operation, post-production clean-up, and waste disposal.
  • You will assemble and test satellite sub-assemblies and top-level assemblies using various tools and work instructions, demonstrating proficiency and expertise as you progress through the levels.
  • Perform equipment set-up, operation, and post-production activities.
  • Assemble and test satellite sub-assemblies and top-level assemblies using various tools and work instructions.
  • Conducted in-process testing and updated analytical staff on anticipated testing needs.
  • Work consistently, quickly, and accurately to meet department standards.
  • Monitor and report labor hours accurately to multiple projects.

Here's what you'll get:

Pay: $22.00 / hr.

Hours: 40 hrs/Week.

Length: Contract (12 Months).

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Minimum of 1-year experience in lean manufacturing and 5S principles is advantageous.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in adhering to safety protocols and standard operating procedures.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Automated systems.
  • Proficiency in using test equipment or mechanical assembly equipment.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Familiarity with MS Word and Excel.
  • Familiarity with large-scale, highly technical, or industrial/manufacturing equipment.
  • All AIT Technicians must pay high attention to detail and utilize critical thinking skills.

Additional Information:

  • Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly needed to sit or stand and use hands to finger, handle, or touch objects, tools, or controls.
  • The team member is frequently needed to talk and hear.
  • Depending on the position, a team member occasionally needs to stand for an extended period, walk, reach above shoulders, stoop, kneel, bend, twist, or crouch.
  • The team member can occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities needed by this job include close vision.
  • Personal Protective Equipment needed, including safety shoes and glasses.
  • Other protective equipment may also be necessary based on the specific task.
