ACARA Solutions and our Defense client have a 100% REMOTE contract to hire position available Xpedition ECAD Layout Designer
- The Senior Electrical Computer-aided Design Engineer will possess a thorough understanding of the design and documentation requirements for Printed Circuit boards.
- Deliver innovative, flexible, integrated solutions to meet changing business needs in PCB design.
- 8 years' experience Xpedition VX2.13.
- Multi-layer up to 20 layers.
- 8 years' experience in PCB design and fabrication details.
- Experience within an Integrated Product Team environment
- 8 years' experience in design, drafting, detailing, and packaging of PCB board layout designs that include, but are not limited to, symbol, cell and footprint generation, PCB layout.
Required Skills / Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Minimum of 8 years experience in generating printed board designs for digital signal processing and hi-frequency radio frequency designs and understanding routing principles relating to hi-speed routing and interference design.
- Minimum of 8 years experience in Xpedition VX2.13.
- Minimum of 8 years experience in Multi-layer up to 20 layers.
- Minimum of 8 years experience in PCB design and fabrication details.
- Minimum of 8 years experience in an Integrated Product Team environment
- Minimum of 8 years experience in design, drafting, detailing, and packaging of PCB board layout designs that include, but are not limited to, symbol, cell and footprint generation, PCB layout, PCB electronic packaging, and PCB drawing generation.
- Minimum of 8 years experience in troubleshooting design data and configuration problems with outside vendors.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
- Master's Degree.
- Demonstrate sophisticated problem-solving skills and an ability to design, develop, and implement innovative client solutions.
- Ability to multi-task and handle numerous jobs simultaneously.
