Machining Operations Technical Coordinator

The incumbent will be the hands-on, technical expert for multiple N/C mill machining work centers producing commercial AG manifolds. As directed by the responsible manager or determined by the needs of the machining area employee team, the incumbent will provide technical assistance to assure that produced parts meet quality and quantity standards. Additionally, the incumbent will be responsible for providing technical training to develop the employee skills, knowledge and abilities required to meet company/customer requirements related to quality, cost and delivery. This will include supporting the mill work centers, as well as the aqueous clean and inspection work areas. Plant 31 is a focused factory located in West Fall, NY, and the technical coordinator will support the overall factory vs a singular WorkCentre.

To be considered for this role, here's what you'll need to bring with you:

  • High School diploma or GED preferred.Otherwise, demonstrated ability to understand and apply all verbal, written and computer work instructions or training in English, and demonstrated ability to perform simple addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
  • Over three years' experience as a diversified, precision, machinist.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to use shop math, work from charts, tables, drawings, blueprints, operation sheets and verbal instructions.
  • Demonstrated ability to use adjustable measuring instruments much as micrometers and calipers.

As a Machining Operations Technical Coordinator, you will:

  • Be capable of operating all the machine tools in his or her respective area at the highest skill level.
  • Use approximately 25% of your time setting up and operating mills in your respective area.
  • Have additional responsibilities related to your role as technical expert and trainer, which may occasionally result in periods of time away from production performing work charged as indirect.

Salary Range Transparency:

Buffalo, NY $32.00-$40.00 Hourly

Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance.
