CRA Analyst
The position supports the CRA Governance & Strategy team with both the letter and the spirit of the CRA which governs the Bank's activities and help ensure the bank maintains high level examination ratings. The CRA Specialist II assists the Specialist III with compliance reviews and support for the development and execution of the Bank's CRA Program to ensure conformity and adherence with all applicable state and federal laws, regulations, and policies and procedures including supporting internal divisions such as lending, marketing, compliance, and legal, to ensure CRA priorities are integrated into the Banks' overall CRA strategy and operations.
Position Responsibilities:
Regulatory Compliance


  • Contribute to the analysis and preparation of various CRA and HMDA reports and provide Executive Summary for Management and the CRA Committee.
  • Lead the management of CRA Assessment Area designations and updates for appropriate files and stakeholders.
  • Assist Specialist III in tracking deliverable dates, procedure reviews, Business Continuity Plan, and ILM.
  • Support the implementation of new, or changes to, CRA Program-related regulations to ensure proper compliance to CRA and HMDA regulatory requirements and determine which business units at the Bank will be impacted.


Analytics


  • Support Issue and Complaints Reviews and Trending including monitoring and management of division issues in Archer system.
  • Assist with Risk Assessment of ATM and Branch distribution network openings, closings, and consolidations.
  • Lead the assessment and analysis of basic business or operational outcomes, systems of records, technical assignments, documentation, procedures, or challenges that require research, evaluation, and selection of alternatives; exercise independent judgement to guide completion of low-risk deliverables.
  • Utilizes CRA Wiz software to review and summarize relevant data for updating reports, dashboards, and scorecards.


Project Management


  • Support periodic self-testing of policies and procedures to determine whether they are being followed and make recommendations as appropriate.
  • Develop, review, and execute CRA and HMDA training materials, guides, and resources.
  • Participate in research, assessment, and documentation of matters relating to policy and regulatory adherence, risk mitigation, or control efforts; identify patterns and trends and look for opportunities for procedural or control improvements within area of focus.
  • Collaborate and consult with internal partners and business stakeholders to provide feedback, credible challenge issues, and calibrate, as needed, to ensure alignment with CRA Program requirements.
  • Assist in CRA examination preparation and onsite assistance.


Position Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or 4 years of relevant experience in financial services or CRA/HMDA compliance or risk management
  • 4 years of experience demonstrating awareness of and adherence to, monitoring of state and federal laws and regulations as they pertain to the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) and Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA) regulatory and reporting requirements
  • 4 years of experience with Advanced skills in personal computer operation, MS Office applications including but not limited to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Proficient in CRA Wiz Software

Work Best Category: Category C - Days in the office will either be designated days or will vary week to week from 2-5 days Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm Monday - Friday Salary: To Be Determined Based on Individual Experience
