Description Acara solutions is looking for an accountant to work temporarily on site with our partner located out of Calabasas Hills, CA who specializes in food manufacturing. Here is what you will get: Pay Rate: $32-$35/hr Duration: 4-6 months Shift: Onsite Monday-Friday 9am-5pm Here is what you will do: Support the business's month-end close process by preparing and posting journal entries Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data Leverage financial systems to streamline processes and improve reporting efficiency Collaborate with finance and accounting associates to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting Work with cross-functional teams to provide financial data and insights that support business decisions Assist in identifying and implementing solutions for business challenges through financial analysis Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards throughout daily operations Job Requirements Required Skills / Qualifications: Minimum of two years related experience in finance, accounting, or similar role. Knowledge of finance and accounting principles with the ability to read and interpret financial data. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficient in MS Office specifically Excel. Strong functional knowledge of an enterprise resource planning system (Oracle, Infor, Ross, etc.). Ability to work independently and as a team member. Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Economics, or related area is preferred. Manufacturing industry experience is preferred.
