JOB SUMMARY
The Health System Physician Outreach Liaison position directly reports to the Manager of Health System Physician Outreach. The position is located within Health System Strategy, and is considered full-time, exempt, with a 40 hour work week. Health System Physician Outreach Liaison is responsible for all aspects of physician outreach for both inpatient and outpatient clinical activities. They serve to effectively facilitate communication among specialists and primary care physicians resulting in strong clinical partnerships and growing new patient volumes for the Health System. Specifically, this position identifies, proposes, and executes engagement within the clinical community to grow institutional initiatives.
Additionally, this position is responsible for developing and managing strong partnerships with external providers including physicians, nurses, office staff, and internal administrators and faculty to assist in supporting project goals and objectives within an assigned geographic region, producing a positive ROI within dedicated areas.
