Position Summary The Last Mile Operations Supervisor plays a critical role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of a warehouse focused on last-mile delivery. This position ensures the efficient and timely movement of goods, maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and productivity. The supervisor leads a team of warehouse associates and delivery personnel, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures while driving customer satisfaction through accurate and timely deliveries. Operational Management
  • Coordinate daily warehouse operations, including receiving, sorting, staging, and dispatching last-mile deliveries.
  • Ensure accurate inventory management, including cycle counts and stock replenishment.
  • Monitor and optimize order fulfillment processes to meet or exceed delivery timelines.
  • Collaborate with drivers and third-party logistics providers to resolve delivery issues promptly.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment in the warehouse.
Team Leadership
  • Supervise, train, and evaluate warehouse associates and support staff.
  • Develop and maintain shift schedules, ensuring adequate staffing levels during peak periods.
  • Foster a positive team culture that emphasizes collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, updates, and expectations.
Safety and Compliance
  • Enforce adherence to safety protocols, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify and address potential safety hazards and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure proper handling of goods to minimize damage and loss.
  • Maintain detailed records of incidents, accidents, and near-misses, reporting them to management as required.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as order accuracy, delivery timeliness, and productivity.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements.
  • Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports to the Warehouse Manager.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field preferred).
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in warehouse or logistics operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and basic computer applications (e.g., MS Office Suite).
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), stand for extended periods, and work in varying warehouse conditions.

Pay Range:

  • $60,000-$68,000 per year
  • Sunday through Thursday 12:00 pm to 9:00 pm
  • Off Friday and Saturday

*The above stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for the position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location. The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws.
