About the Role: The Marketing team at PitchBook is critical to fueling the company's growth by using a variety of strategies to increase brand awareness and support our Sales and Customer Success departments in growing and retaining our client base. The Marketing department is responsible for all demand generation efforts by executing engaging campaigns, effective product marketing strategies, and attending client and trade-show events. The Marketing team is also responsible for promoting the PitchBook brand and managing internal communications. Reporting to the Director of Communications, the Social Media Manager is responsible for driving strategy, managing and executing our social media content to drive brand awareness, engagement, and lead generation. This role requires a blend of brand strategy, content creation, graphic design and multimedia skills, and data-driven analysis to optimize our social media efforts across various platforms. They will work closely with our communications, creative, and go-to-market campaigns teams to develop compelling social media content that resonates with our target audiences, are tailored for different platforms, and are aligned with marketing's strategic initiatives. This role must have a strong understanding of PitchBook's business, suite of products, target audience and market trends as well as PitchBook's brand voice, tone, and design standards. They must be a self-starter that can anticipate and proactively identify opportunities to execute best-in-class evergreen and campaign-based social media content, while also maintaining a comprehensive content calendar. This role will require a passion for narrative storytelling and developing innovative, effective content campaigns across different channels, as well as testing creative hypotheses, reporting on learnings, and building on strategic insights. *Starting pay will be based on several factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience. We also have a location-based compensation structure; there may be different ranges for candidates by location. Working Conditions: We believe our business and our culture are strongest when we work together in person. We also know that it's helpful to have some flexibility to work remotely. Most roles work in the office 3+ days/week, and some are expected to work in the office 4-5 days/week. The current expectation for this role is that you are working in the office 3+days/week and that you are in the office full-time during the training period, for which the length varies by role. During an initial phone screen, the team will discuss expectations for this specific position. The job conditions for this position are in a standard office setting. Employees in this position use PC and phone on an on-going basis throughout the day. Limited corporate travel may be required to remote offices or other business meetings and events.
