SUMMARY: We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Foreign Exchange (FX) Sales Manager to join our growing team at a regional bank with markets in Florida, New York, and the Sun Belt. The ideal candidate will be responsible for marketing, selling, and managing foreign exchange products and services to corporate clients across our footprint, with a focus on building strong relationships, expanding the client base, and driving revenue growth in the FX space. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties and special projects may be assigned.
- Sales & Business Development: Proactively target and engage with corporate clients to sell FX products and services, including spot, forwards, swaps, and options. Develop tailored FX solutions to meet client needs and drive new business.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers at corporate clients. Understand client requirements, industry trends, and market conditions to offer valuable FX insights and recommendations.
- Market Knowledge: Stay current with global FX market trends, economic developments, and regulatory changes that may impact corporate clients. Use this knowledge to position the bank's FX offerings competitively.
- Revenue Generation: Meet and exceed sales targets by driving FX revenue growth. Negotiate pricing and structure deals in line with the bank's risk management policies and profitability goals.
- System Implementations: Collaborate with Capital Markets Operations and Information Technology in the continued development of the Bank's FX Payments infrastructure and ecosystem.
- Cross-Selling: Work closely with other relationship management team in other departments such as Treasury Services and Corporate and Commercial Banking to cross-sell complementary banking products and solutions.
- Risk Management & Compliance: Ensure all FX transactions comply with internal risk management guidelines and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with the Risk and Compliance teams to mitigate any potential risks related to FX transactions.
- Reporting & Analysis: Provide regular reports on sales activity, client feedback, and market conditions to senior management. Use data analytics to assess the performance of FX products and identify new opportunities for growth.
- Policy & Procedures: Monitor FX policy and procedures, reviewing often and working closely with the team to ensure all sales, trading, and operations activity complies.
- Training & Development: Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members. Stay informed about new FX products, services, and industry practices to contribute to team development and best practices.
- Adheres to and complies with applicable, federal and state laws, regulations and guidance, including those related to anti-money laundering (i.e. Bank Secrecy Act, US PATRIOT Act, etc.).
- Adheres to Bank policies and procedures and completes required training.
- Identifies and reports suspicious activity.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervises function, projects or services and/or one or more employees, as applicable.
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
- Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance coaching; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
EDUCATION Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field MBA or professional certifications (eg, CFA) are a plus. EXPERIENCE
- At least 7+ years of experience in FX sales, trading, or a related role, ideally within a corporate banking or financial services environment.
- Proven track record in selling FX products to corporate clients is essential.
- Experience working in a regional or super regional bank preferred.
- Established network of corporate clients in New York/Florida/Southeast markets preferred.
- Experience marketing interest rate derivative products preferred.
- Experience using Derivative Path, Finzly, Ion, or a similar trading system preferred.

- Proficiency in Bloomberg, Microsoft Office Suite and experience with CRM software such as Salesforce.
