Cognizant is looking to hire a motivated and skilled Lead React Native Developer, an individual who lead the design, development, and implementation of complex React Native applications, architect and build scalable, maintainable, and high-performance mobile solutions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, product, backend) to define and deliver exceptional user experiences..

Job Location: Atlanta, GA

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex React Native applications.
• Architect and build scalable, maintainable, and high-performance mobile solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, product, backend) to define and deliver exceptional user experiences.
• Write clean, well-documented, and testable code adhering to best practices and coding standards.
• Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior developers.
• Troubleshoot and debug complex technical issues effectively.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in React Native, mobile development, and industry best practices.
• Drive technical innovation and explore new technologies to improve our development processes.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of internal tools and libraries.

Key Qualifications:

• With 9+ years of professional experience in mobile application development using React Native.
• Strong understanding of JavaScript, including ES6+ syntax and advanced concepts.
• Extensive experience with native mobile development (iOS/Android) is highly preferred.
• Deep understanding of RESTful APIs, mobile networking, and offline data synchronization.
• Proven experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, MobX, Zustand).
• Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and best practices for mobile applications.
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks (unit, integration, end-to-end).
• Strong leadership, mentoring, and communication skills.
• Passion for building high-quality, user-centric mobile applications.

Bonus Points:

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and mobile release processes.
• Contributions to open-source projects.
• Experience with performance optimization techniques for mobile applications.
• Knowledge of GraphQL and other modern data fetching architectures
