Production Planner Category: Manufacturing & Production Employment Type: Direct Hire Reference: BH-381701 As a Production Planner, you will develop and coordinate production schedules to ensure efficient production capacity, on-time delivery, and required inventory levels. Success in this role involves identifying opportunities to improve processes and control costs. Key Responsibilities: Review customer orders and sales requirements for attainability. Develop and analyze schedules based on sales forecasts and create production orders to meet customer and stocking needs. Manage production resources to ensure actionable and efficient production schedules. Facilitate Engineering Change Order implementation for purchasing, material control, and production. Review forecasted production orders and adjust schedules as needed to address production issues or changing priorities. Coordinate with Purchasing, Operations, and Sales to ensure minimum inventory levels are met to support customer requirements. Implement and monitor workflow and production activity within the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system to meet production deadlines. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field. Minimum one year of experience in manufacturing planning/scheduling. Experience with Material Requirements Planning (MRP) information systems. Proficiency with Microsoft Office. Strong attention to detail. Organized, focused, and results-oriented. Problem-solving skills with critical thinking and prioritizing abilities. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with manufacturing drawings.
