Position Highlights |
This position is responsible for analyzing, interpreting, and implementing tuition and fees. The successful candidate will review and troubleshoot student accounts, analyze data, and prepare the university's tuition calculator. This individual will also create and run reports and assist with providing excellent customer service for university departments and student/parent answers.

Duties & Responsibilities |
Tuition and Fees Management:
- Analyze tuition and fees policies in accordance with ABOR (Arizona Board of Regents) guidelines and implement new rates into the University of Arizona's tuition and fees calculator.
- Maintain the tuition and fees calculator by ensuring accurate display of tuition and fee structures.
- Collaborate with various university departments and external agencies to manage tuition rates (e.g., Academic Administration and other university-related departments).
- Test tuition and fee structures in the system to ensure accuracy each semester.
Team Leadership and Support:
- Oversee the Electronic Services team, prioritize and delegate tasks.
- Handle escalated email communications within the university and with students.
- Train staff, establish performance expectations, and conduct performance evaluations.
- Provide input on employment, pay decisions, recruitment, and staff development.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Analyze student accounts to identify and resolve issues.
- Create, modify, and run reports to improve organizational planning and process management.
- Continuously evaluate and recommend efficiencies for university processes related to the Bursar's Office.
- Conduct analysis of university-wide processes to
identify improvements and streamline operations.

Minimum Qualifications |
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent advanced learning attained through professional level experience required.
- Minimum of 5 years of related work experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience required.

Preferred Qualifications |
- Experience with creating reports in Analytics and/or PeopleSoft.
- Experience with creating reports in Excel and SQL.
- Experience balancing multiple projects at once with resilience, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to successful outcomes.
- Experience applying advanced analytical and critical thinking skills in a professional setting to address complex challenges.
