Pay

$22.06 - $23.44 / hour, depending on experience and qualifications
Plus $2.00 / hr shift premium for 3rd shift hours

Schedule

3rd Shift (Sunday - Thursday, 11:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m.)

Job Summary

McKee Foods is seeking a Load Team Member w/LTO to join our Shipping team. A Load Team Member w/LTO loads cases of product to fill distributor orders; operates components of shipping automation; loads and unloads transferred product; maintains a clean and orderly work area, keeps waste to a minimum; and performs other duties as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • Possession of, or ability to obtain, a McKee Foods LTO license and maintain it.
  • Flexibility to perform a variety of tasks and functions as needed.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Self-motivated with a high degree of initiative and the ability to work independently.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills for interacting with management, coworkers, and customers.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to repetitively lift and move up to 40 lbs.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify cause and effect.
  • Basic computer skills or willingness to learn.
  • Good work ethic, safety practices, and attendance; adherence to company policies, personal safety, food safety, product purity, and departmental procedures.
  • Steel-toed safety shoes required.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and assist in training and development of others.
  • Availability to work additional hours and days as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous Shipping experience
  • Previous LTO experience
  • Mechanical aptitude and skills
