THE JOB:

As a Host Person at Blossom located at Aria Resort, you'll be the first point of contact, setting the tone for an unforgettable dining experience. Your primary responsibility will be to greet guests with courtesy, efficiency, and professionalism, all while ensuring the outlet remains clean, organized, and fully stocked. Additionally, you'll support Food Servers, Bus Persons, and Food Service Runners by managing guest contact and table information seamlessly.

THE STARTING RATE:$16.8295plus tips

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Greets and seats guests in gracious manner and distributes business among Food Servers equally and as fairly as possible. Monitors guests that are seated, and immediately respond to guest's needs or request of first contact

• Answer phones, keep accurate count of reservations and handle reservation book

• Ensure menus have proper inserts and are current according to the most recent change, and replace all menus in poor condition

• Communicate the needs of the guests to the kitchen and management, inform management of guest reactions and comments, and assist management as needed to ensure smooth operation and quality service

• Frequently check back with guests who are waiting to be seated; make it evident to guests that they have not been forgotten and that tables are being prepared for them

• Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned work area

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Six months working in a restaurant environment

• Familiarity with reservation platforms such as SevenRooms, TripleSeat, Open Table or similar systems

• Demonstrates excellent phone etiquette, coupled with exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with all business contacts

• Bilingual in a Chinese language dialect

• Experience working in similar resort or luxury setting

• Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
