Symetra has an exciting opportunity to join our team as anAssociate Electronic Data Exchange Analyst!

About the role

As an Associate EDX Analyst you will process ongoing file feeds for voluntary, life, and disability benefits. You'll analyze data to find and correct issues, including eligibility and contract rules. A basic knowledge of analytical techniques and ability to advance issues accordingly after data interpretation is needed. The Associate EDX Analyst will be responsible for their own assigned client book which must be managed on a daily basis. Ongoing collaboration with vendors, brokers, and clients is required to ensure file receipt and data accuracy.

What you will do



  • Manage conflicts, issues, and changes in order to ensure that stakeholders and the end users remain in agreement on the data exchange.
  • Communicate requirements to stakeholders.
  • Maintain traceability of the requirements from planning through post-production phases of files to ensure quality of delivery.
  • Send post-processing review communication via email and follow up on takeaways routinely while the feed is in production status to all appropriate team members.
  • Facilitate feed maintenance for various-sized policy holders.
  • Identify, refine, and clarify business needs and solutions.
  • Assess small amounts of information and can organize in ways that various stakeholders understand.
  • Analyzes the impact on existing workflows, processes, and procedures that will occur with the implementation of the solution.

Compensation

Hourly Range: $21.00-$35.19 plus eligibility for our company annual bonus program

Who you are



  • Highly deadline driven and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Capacity to navigate multiple systems simultaneously for data research.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Contributes to a collaborative working environment and builds trust with others.
  • Ability to learn new software and systems in order to gain knowledge of how they work and are used by customers.
  • Proficient in Excel and Outlook
  • Basic data analysis skills
  • Problem solving and attention to detail

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Results Driven
  • Bachelor's Degree OR 1-2 years work experience required
  • The ideal candidate will have knowledge and experience with benefits, EDI, and/or benefit administration systems.
