This opportunity is in the Information Technology Department.

Role Description:
As a Product Owner II, you will play a vital role in shaping and delivering products that align with Safety National's strategic objectives. You'll collaborate closely with stakeholders, business leaders, and development teams to drive the creation of products that deliver exceptional value to customers. This role is instrumental in maintaining and managing the product backlog while prioritizing the team's focus on features, production support, and enhancements.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Collaborate with the Product Manager to refine the product vision and align the roadmap with strategic goals.
  • Act as a primary liaison between development teams and business stakeholders, translating needs into actionable stories and features.
  • Manage and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring seamless sprint planning and execution.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies and champion Agile practices within the organization.
  • Continuously gather and analyze feedback from users to drive product improvements.
  • Work with stakeholders to define KPIs and use data-driven insights to inform product decisions.
  • Ensure timely and high-quality product releases in collaboration with Scrum Masters and Release Train Engineers.

Essential Skills and Experience:



  • Bachelor's or Associate's degree (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role.
  • Technical aptitude to understand complex systems and convey customer needs effectively.
  • Awareness of software development life cycles, including Agile, SAFe, or iterative methodologies.


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Experience in Property and Casualty (P&C) Insurance.
  • Familiarity with SAFe frameworks and Agile practices.

Compensation for the successful candidate will consider the candidate's particular combination of knowledge, skills, competencies, experience and geographic location.
