Regional Vice President - Milwaukee

In addition to duties in a division market or group manager role, the Regional Vice President (RVP) is responsible for leading office operations, representing administrative division initiatives, advancing TKDA culture and values within the office, and supporting locally represented division operations. In addition to being a senior representative of TKDA in the regional market, the RVP is a professional mentor and advisor to division staff assigned to the office.
Primary Responsibilities

General Business Operations
  • Work closely with the COO, division vice presidents, and administrative division chief officers to establish unified goals for development of TKDA's operations in the region.
  • Contribute to the development, implementation, and oversight of annual division business plans in alignment with the TKDA strategic plan.
  • Support internal communications, organizational development, and culture/team building initiatives as they relate to regional office staff.
  • In collaboration with division vice presidents represented in the region and the human resources team, contribute to identification of personnel needs and support regional recruiting efforts.
  • Identify and communicate office needs requiring administrative division action, and support implementation of solutions.
  • Collaborate with technical group managers, division vice presidents, and other regional vice presidents to identify and coordinate workshare/talent share needs and opportunities.
Market Development
  • Work with COO, division vice presidents, division market managers, and marketing and business development staff to establish and implement regionally targeted market development initiatives in support of vertical division priorities.
  • Support market development plans and initiatives by identifying and contributing regional market insights and competitive intelligence relevant to markets that TKDA is actively pursuing in region.
  • Support division and marketing and business development staff in building in-region client relationships and serving as a senior representative and officer of TKDA.
  • Facilitate the cross sale of TKDA service offerings.
  • Represent TKDA with active participation in regional professional, industry, and market associations.
Talent Recruitment and Development
  • Support identification of personnel needs in collaboration with vertical division VPs and support human resources staff in regional recruiting and staff development efforts.
  • Support internal communications, organizational development, and culture/team building initiatives as they relate to regional division staff.
  • Coach and mentor regional division staff.
Project Management and Technical Leadership
  • For assigned clients and projects, serve as the primary client liaison and manages project teams to deliver scope, schedule and budgets to completion while maintaining the exceptional client experience TKDA is known for.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Registered as a professional engineer or architect in the jurisdiction of responsibility.
  • Professional and general management experience demonstrated through 10 or more years of successful technical service delivery, client relationship management, and regional industry experience.
  • Ability, capacity, and aptitude in organization management to plan, organize, supervise, motivate, and engage team members within assigned region.
  • Effective time management and organization skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and demonstrated ability to grasp and understand business concepts and issues.
  • Current membership and active participation in local, state, and/or regional professional and industry organizations.
