Senior Consultant - Project Management

Full-time professional position at CW Professional Services' business office located at 150 West Jefferson Avenue, Suite 1425, Detroit, MI 48226, with relocation to worksites within the same metropolitan statistical area expected.

Duties:

Responsible for system/component functional objective establishment and project timing.
• Manage engineering bill of materials. Responsible for change management, completion and integrity of product release, and cost/ investment establishment.
• Capture, record and manage software requirements including writing requirements specifications and develop feature-based HMI requirements.
• Analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing systems and review computer system capabilities.
• Take business-needs driven approach to technology, implement new requirements for the systems and its solutions delivery.
• Develop and recommend solutions and strategies for real world problems based on the analysis of customer business goals, objectives, needs, and existing systems.
• Build prototypes, proof of concept/value for strategic opportunities using leading edge technologies based on given client requirements.
• Actively participate in requirement definition and enhancement of feature standards, system procedures and best practices.
• Provide test validation plan on component/systems and launch support/ issue resolution of components/systems.
• Lead issue management and resolution or other defect management system.
• Represent components in issue tracking, and reporting at various management meetings.
• Lead the Design Plan with internal stakeholders and document steps and milestones using MS Project.
• Support launches when required per launch plan.
• Manage compliance reports for components like cost and schedule.

Education/Experience Requirements: Bachelor's degree in a Computer Science or Information Technology field and 4 years of experience in the job offered or a related information technology project manager or software developer position.

Special Requirements: 1.5 years of verifiable experience performing information technology project management or software development duties employing the following technical tools: Jira, Confluence, Zephyr, GitHub, Gantt Chart, Kubernetes, AWS.
