Acara Solutions is seeking highly qualified candidates to work Onsite with our client in Wilmington, MA. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

  • We need a mechanical inspector to work in our receiving inspection department
  • Reviewing and interpreting engineering drawings and using common measuring devices like callipers, micrometres, and optical comparators.
  • They will also be needed to enter inspection data into our inspection database.

Here's what you'll get:

  • Pay rate: $30.00-$35.00/Hour.
  • Hours: 9/80
  • Length: Temp (12 Months)

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum 6 years of experience with engineering drawings- review and interpretation
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in creating non-conformances
  • Minimum 6 years of experience with common measuring devices - Caliper, Radius Gages, Micrometers, Optical comparator, Deltronic pins, Vision System
  • Minimum 6 years of experience with all measuring devices
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Associates Degree
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Aerospace
  • Microsoft Word experience
  • Experience inspecting IPC-J-STD-001 Space Addendum and NASA 8739.4.
  • Experience with GD&T ( Geometric Dimension and Tolerancing)
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong ability to focus, prioritize, and work with cross-functional teams
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Team player and strong communication skills
  • Ability to review assembly/ test documentation for appropriate traceability and in accordance with internal company procedures.
  • Experience in inspecting specific standards like IPC-J-STD-001 Space Addendum and NASA 8739.4
  • Familiarity with GD&T.

Additional Information:

  • Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.
