Here's what you'd do: We need a mechanical inspector to work in our receiving inspection department Reviewing and interpreting engineering drawings and using common measuring devices like callipers, micrometres, and optical comparators. Job Requirements Required Skills / Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED Minimum 6 years of experience with engineering drawings- review and interpretation Minimum 6 years of experience in creating non-conformances Minimum 6 years of experience with common measuring devices - Caliper, Radius Gages, Micrometers, Optical comparator, Deltronic pins, Vision System Minimum 6 years of experience with all measuring devices Preferred Skills / Qualifications: Associates Degree Minimum 5 years of experience in Aerospace Microsoft Word experience Experience inspecting IPC-J-STD-001 Space Addendum and NASA 8739.4. Experience with GD&T ( Geometric Dimension and Tolerancing) High attention to detail Strong ability to focus, prioritize, and work with cross-functional teams Strong written and verbal communication skills Team player and strong communication skills Ability to review assembly/ test documentation for appropriate traceability and in accordance with internal company procedures. Experience in inspecting specific standards like IPC-J-STD-001 Space Addendum and NASA 8739.4 Familiarity with GD&T. Additional Information: Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen. Able to sit for long periods of time.
