Job Description

Kearney & Company is hiring a Junior Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) DBA to work in support of the Air Force Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) program. The Oracle Apps DBA will be responsible for the administration of Oracle EBS, Oracle database, Oracle middleware and related environments. The role requires exercise of discretion and independent judgement in evaluation of user requests/requirements, architecting, determining, and implementing an optimum technology solution and related documentation by applying best practices.

The Junior Oracle EBS DBA will:

  • Administer, develop, test, or demonstrate databases
  • Perform many related database functions across one or more teams or clients, including designing, implementing, and maintaining new databases, backup/recovery and configuration management
  • Install database management systems (DBMS) and provide input for modification of procedures and documentation used for problem resolution and day-to-day maintenance.

Qualifications

  • Top Secret Clearance (Requires US Citizenship)
  • Security+ CE Certification or other certification to meet DOD 8570 Baseline Requirements IAT Level II
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related area
  • 3+ years of experience as an Oracle EBS Database Administrator (DBA)
  • Working knowledge of cloning, security, patching, strong tuning and optimization skills on both the EBS Application Tier and the Database tier
  • 3+ years of Oracle Weblogic Administration, Single sign on (SSO) and other related technologies

This position is currently remote. Management or the client may adjust or eliminate the remote work arrangement at any point. This would require employee presence at a defined work location on a full-time or hybrid basis, depending on client needs.

The expected salary range for this position is between $69,000 and $105,000. This range is representative of base pay only and does not include straight time pay for hours worked over 40 per week, company contributions towards paid benefits, and/or bonuses. Actual compensation (meeting or exceeding the range) will be determined based on specific experience, education, work location, clearance level, and other factors permitted by law. This position is eligible for bonuses (when applicable).
