AsSr. Software Developer, you'll customize and configure ServiceNow Asset Management functionality, ensuring it meets organizational requirements and aligns with best practices. This role focuses on developing, deploying, and maintaining advanced solutions within the ServiceNow platform to optimize asset management processes. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise in ServiceNow development and a strong understanding of IT Asset Management (ITAM).

What you'll do:



  • Design, configure, and customize the ServiceNow Asset Management module to meet business needs and technical requirements.
  • Implement workflows, business rules, UI actions, and client scripts to automate asset management processes.
  • Integrate the ServiceNow Asset Management functionality with other enterprise tools and systems to ensure seamless data flow and functionality.
  • Develop and maintain data models, ensuring asset data accuracy and integrity across the system.
  • Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, business support staff, and other stakeholders to gather and understand requirements for customizations and enhancements.
  • Perform system upgrades, patches, and maintenance to ensure the Asset Management module is up to date and performing optimally.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues within the Asset Management module.
  • Stay up-to-date on ServiceNow best practices and new features to continually enhance the platform's capabilities.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for configurations, customizations, and integrations.


What you'll need to succeed:



  • Ability to obtain Secret level security clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in ServiceNow development, with a focus on IT Asset Management or related modules.
  • Strong expertise in configuring and customizing the ServiceNow platform, including scripting and integrations.
  • Demonstrated experience in implementing asset management solutions and workflows.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and ServiceNow scripting.
  • In-depth understanding of ServiceNow tables, fields, and relationships, particularly within the Asset Management module.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, MID servers, and integration hubs.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
