The Sr Director, Global Employee & Labor Relations role is an exciting opportunity to serve as a trusted advisor to resolve challenging people issues, drive change and engagement. You will partner with senior leaders within Employee Experience (EX) to identify organizational needs, workforce trends, and best practices. You will own the strategic direction to address emerging workplace trends, provide guidance to the employee relations team to address employee relations issues and interpretation of relevant policies, laws, and regulations.
You will be responsible for the management and leadership of the global employee and labor relations team.
Establishes and implements short- and long-range organizational goals, objectives, strategic plans, policies, and operating procedures.
Develops and manages effective employee relations programs to foster positive employee relations. Communicates regularly with supervisors, managers, and other representatives to promote EX services and to provide education and training on policies and legal compliance.
Provide guidance and advice on sensitive, complex people scenarios (i.e. negotiated departures, potentially significant matters where there are people and business risk) to reduce risk and drive Adobe's business forward.
Collaborates with multiple functions to ensure coordinated service delivery such as the Employment Legal, HR Business Partners, Security, Inclusion and Diversity.
12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6+ years of work experience with a PhD with an emphasis on legal/compliance/investigations or prior Employee Relations experience.
Proven advanced knowledge of human resources, employment law, employee and labor relations, regulatory compliance, arbitration, facilitation, and collective bargaining
Advanced analytical, evaluative, consultative, critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Ability to effectively summarize and present information to a variety of audiences.
Ability to work within a complex and often ambiguous environment, to drive linear, fact-based insights, recommendations, and solutions.
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $182,100 -- $357,300 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP). In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
