Join our dynamic team as the Director of Retirement Benefits, where you'll play a pivotal role in shaping Cencora's future! Collaborating closely with the Senior Director of Benefits, you will have the opportunity to manage and enhance our retirement programs while bringing your innovative ideas to life. This is your chance to actively design and implement cutting-edge retirement plans that make a real difference in the lives of our employees.   • Oversee the US qualified and non-qualified plans, compliance, testing, audits, and coordinating with the Benefits Committee and investment advisors
  • Align with and support the Company's benefits strategy to achieve the enterprise Total Rewards strategy
  • Leads designing and implementing new processes and changes to existing and future programs.
  • Analyzes data and presents metrics and reporting that identifies and explains trends, to inform the decision-making process related to program design.
  • Lead retirement program design and support for acquisition and divestiture
  • Stay informed of legal and regulatory requirements related to retirement plans, as well as industry best practices.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with partners across the Executive Leadership Team, HR, Technology, Legal, Finance, and other internal stakeholders.
  • Manage relationship with external vendors and recordkeepers
  • Support the Global Benefits function in driving execution excellence and continuous process improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date on market trends and innovative solutions within the retirement space

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 10+ years of experience in retirement benefits or a related field, preferably within a large, complex organization.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. Advanced degree or certification (e.g., CCP, CEP) is preferred.
  • Global retirement experience a plus
  • People manager experience a plus
  • Strong understanding of retirement principles, practices, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills.
  • High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism in handling sensitive and confidential information.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
