Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CCTV Installer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing CCTV systems for our clients. This role requires a strong understanding of security systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Candidate should expect travel to locations within the United States and to international destinations up to 80% of the time.

Work Environment:

    Location is flexible: NV5 Regional Offices or work from home considered

Responsibilities

  • Conduct joint site surveys aboard U.S. military installations (domestic and foreign) to determine optimal camera placement and system requirements.
  • Install, configure, and maintain CCTV systems, including cabling, hardware, analog & IP cameras, monitors, and recording devices.
  • Consult with clients to determine their security needs to provide suitable CCTV system designs and solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and repair CCTV systems and related equipment.
  • Ensure all installations comply with industry standards and client specifications.
  • Provide technical support and training to clients on system operation and maintenance.
  • Maintain accurate records of installations, maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in CCTV technology and security systems.


Qualifications

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in electronics or a related field is preferred
  • Demonstrated prior experience as a CCTV installer or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of CCTV systems, networking, and physical security protocols
  • Proficient in using hand and power tools
  • Ability to arrange travel arrangements for domestic and international travel
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Valid U.S. Passport
  • Able to pass a national security background check (if applicable)
  • Willing to travel at least 50% of the time (domestic/foreign) for up to 3 weeks
  • May require flexible hours to accommodate customer needs and for travel requirements

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment (up to 75lbs)
  • Comfortable working at heights and in various weather conditions
  • Ability to work in confined spaces

  • Ability to work well within a team/hybrid environment
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong communication and customer service skills

Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check and drug screening.
