Job Summary

We are seeking a Sr. Developer with 6 to 9 years of experience specializing in Security Globalscape and SFTP. The ideal candidate will work in a hybrid model with a day shift schedule. Experience in Investment Banking Operations is a plus. This role involves developing and maintaining secure file transfer solutions ensuring data integrity and security.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain secure file transfer solutions using Globalscape and SFTP.
  • Ensure data integrity and security in all file transfer processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to file transfer protocols.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to team members on security and file transfer matters.
  • Conduct regular security audits and assessments to identify vulnerabilities.
  • Implement and enforce security policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and analyze system logs to detect and respond to security incidents.
  • Stay updated with the latest security trends and technologies.
  • Document all processes and procedures related to file transfer and security.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to security standards.
  • Optimize file transfer processes for efficiency and reliability.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of security practices within the organization.

Qualifications

  • Must have strong experience in Security Globalscape and SFTP.
  • Should have a minimum of 6 years and a maximum of 9 years of relevant experience.
  • Nice to have experience in Investment Banking Operations.
  • Must be able to work in a hybrid model with a day shift schedule.
  • Should have excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Must possess strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Should be proactive in staying updated with the latest security trends and technologies.
  • Must be detail-oriented and able to document processes accurately.
  • Should have experience in conducting security audits and assessments.
  • Must be able to implement and enforce security policies effectively.
  • Should have a strong understanding of file transfer protocols and best practices.
  • Must be able to provide technical support and guidance to team members.

The annual salary for this position is between $90,000 - $115,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
