Summer Intern - Test Coordinator (Hybrid)

While the majority of our employees are hybrid, the following classifications drive our current minimum onsite requirements:

• Hybrid People Leaders: must reside in AZ, required to be onsite at least once per week

• Hybrid Individual Contributors: must reside in AZ, unless otherwise cited within this posting, required to be onsite at least once per month

• Onsite: daily onsite requirement based on the essential functions of the job

• Remote: not held to onsite requirements, however, leadership can request presence onsite for business reasons including but not limited to staff meetings, one-on-ones, training, and team building

Please note that onsite requirements may change in the future, based on business need, and job responsibilities. Most employees should expect onsite requirements and at a minimum of once per month.

This internship requires work and residency in Arizona.

What to Expect

As aTest CoordinatorIntern,you'llbecome proficient in using Microsoft Office 365 and Azure DevOps to identify, document, and contribute to providing testing status to leadership in the form of testing traceability.

Pay:$18-$23

Hours:20 - 40 hours per week (Depending on your school schedule. We're flexible!)

Duration:8-12 weeks

Location:Onboarding, training, and some projects will be located at our 8220 N 23rd Ave. office in Phoenix, Arizona.

Throughout thisBlue Cross Blue Shield of Arizonainternship, you will:

• Learn the BCBSAZ business model, organization, and impact on the community.
• Collaborate with mentors, peers, and business teams to coordinate and manage execution of all phases of testing, including but not limited to: QA, SIT, E2E, UAT and Performance.
• Participate on work teams, contribute to projects and initiatives, and perform various tasks as needed by the assigned unit/department.
• Research, analyze, track, and resolve basic IT problems.
• Respond to user requests for service, troubleshoot problems, and help develop solutions.
• Assist in maintaining records and process documentation.
• Kickstart a potential future career at BCBSAZ!
• Assist in coordinating test efforts for multiple projects simultaneously, helping to ensure proper test coverage for each one.
• Learn to identify critical areas of project risk and develop strategies to reduce overall risk.

Qualifications

• Two years attendance at an accredited college pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in computer technology or related technical field.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher
• Intermediate PC proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite
