- The Tools Management Specialist/Engineer oversees the selection, implementation, maintenance, and optimization of various engineering tools and software companies use.

- Evaluate and recommend tools for design, simulation, testing, and other engineering functions based on the company's requirements.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in tools and technologies relevant to engineering processes.
- Lead the implementation of new tools, ensuring they integrate seamlessly with existing workflows, systems, and software.
- Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to install and configure engineering tools.
- Ensure smooth deployment of tools, including data migration, user access setup, and configuration.
- Oversee the routine maintenance of engineering tools, ensuring they remain functional and efficient.
- Troubleshoot technical issues with tools and resolve them on time.
- Provide technical support and training to end-users to ensure optimal tool usage.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate tools' performance to identify optimization opportunities.
- Implement improvements and upgrades to enhance tool efficiency, usability, and performance.

- Track tool usage and generate reports on tool performance, cost-efficiency, and ROI (Return on Investment).
- Prepare reports for management and stakeholders on tool performance, issues, and improvement efforts.
- Work closely with engineering, IT, and procurement teams to ensure the tools meet technical and business needs.
- Participate in cross-department meetings to gather feedback and align tool capabilities with departmental goals.
- Ensure that tools support the broader organizational objectives, such as quality control, project timelines, and resource management.
- Ensure all tools adhere to industry standards, regulations, and security requirements.
- Implement best practices for data security and integrity while using engineering tools.
- Manage software licensing and compliance to avoid unauthorized tool use and ensure all licenses are current.
- Monitor tool-related expenses and help optimize costs by negotiating with vendors or selecting cost-effective solutions.
- Manage the budgeting process for tools and tool-related resources.
- Responsible for maintaining a positive work environment while supporting the company's culture.
- Responsible for fostering a healthy and safe work environment, focusing on the well-being of all associates.
- Maintains and strengthens internal, external customer, and supplier relationships. Communicates and works with all business partners.
- Ensures inventory management and allocation flow products through the warehouse in the most cost-efficient and productive manner.

Required Skills / Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering or Civil Engineering, or Computer Science.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in tools management, engineering, or IT support roles, ideally within a technical or manufacturing environment.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in managing projects related to tool implementation, upgrades, or optimization.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in engineering tools and software (CAD, CAM, CAE, PLM, ERP systems) and in troubleshooting and tool optimization.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
- Master's Degree.
- Certifications in tools management.
- Good analytical skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- High attention to detail, ensuring tools are correctly maintained and accurately documented.
