This role is part of the Lunar Permanence business unit, which develops Blue Origin's multiple Blue Moon lander product lines. To further Blue Origin's mission of having millions of people living and working in space, we are building sustainable infrastructure for our transport of crew and cargo from Earth to the lunar surface. As part of a hardworking team of diverse specialists, technicians, and engineers (use as appropriate), you will lead our dedicated team in the development of a state-of-the-art motor controller for use in space cryo-cooling applications. As the team lead, you will apply your deep expertise in electronics engineering and your knowledge of motor control systems to direct the full lifecycle of product development-from initial concept design to final production. This multifaceted role requires a balance of technical skills to tackle hands-on engineering challenges and leadership acumen to guide and encourage a small, niche team. You will be instrumental in setting design goals, defining schedules, and ensuring that development stays on track and meets all performance criteria. This position calls for an innovative problem-solver with a dedication to producing outstanding results that is looking to push the boundaries of avionics for use in -space for the benefit of mankind.
