- In this position, the Senior Electrical Engineer will lead the Electromagnetic Environmental Effects activities and provide EMI design support across multiple programs.
- They will perform scientific research, evaluate test plans/procedures, process test data, and perform analyses concerning Electromagnetic Environmental Effects.
- Evaluation of EMI requirements and decomposing system requirements into lower-level specs.
- Prepare presentation material and present at SRR, PDR, CDR, and TRR.
- Develop EMI Control Plans, E3 Integration, and Analysis Reports, E3 Verification Procedures and Reports, and EMI Test Procedures and Reports.
- Support tests in the EMI lab and troubleshoot EMI out-of-spec conditions.
- Performing design verification analysis and documenting results organized and comprehensively.
- Perform RF Co-site analyses and document the results.
- Meeting task schedule commitments on programs.
- Work with the engineering teams on assigned programs.
- Supporting proposal efforts and developing accurate EEE cost estimates.
- Establish metrics and identify opportunities to optimize or automate EEE engineering efforts.
- Providing technical and project leadership in EEE development, maintaining budgeted cost and schedule.
- Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems.
- Analyses are performed at all levels of the total system product, including concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance, and disposal.
- Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
- Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation, and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.

Required Skills / Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Minimum of 5 years of EMI design experience, especially in grounding, filtering, and shielding related to EMI control.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in MIL-STD-461F/G, MIL-STD-464C/D.
- Minimum of 5 years experience performing EMI-related analysis.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to support multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
- EMI test experience.
