Job Description

The Program

Mallinckrodt is offering an 11-week internship program, which provides an immersive experience in the world of pharmaceuticals. As an MNK Intern, you will have the opportunity to contribute to meaningful and impactful work that compliments the degree you are pursuing. Here, you will be able to apply what you've learned in the classroom to a corporate environment. In addition, our internship program is designed to include networking opportunities across the company, professional development workshops, and community service.

Summary

  • This employee shall assist the External Quality Department with the oversight activities for the pharmaceutical contract manufacturing organizations.

  • The External Quality Operations Department develops, executes, and continuously improves the Quality systems, quality assurance programs, as related to global regulatory agency requirements.

  • The Quality Department supports internal and external customer requirements.

  • This position reports directly to the Sr. Director Quality External Operations.

Essential Functions

  • Assist in various Good Manufacturing Practice oversight activities

  • Electronic documentation system management

  • Assist with Quality documentation origination and organization

  • Complete technical and other quality duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements

Education / Experience / Skills:

  • Candidate pursuing a career in a scientific field of study is preferred

Organizational Relationship/Scope:

  • Independent, self-starter

  • Proficient at multi-tasking, well organized and reliable

  • Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills.

  • Computer skills - Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Working Conditions:

  • Office and remote working environment.
