Job Description:This position will work directly with the Case Management and Social Services team to provide support services to assist with the timely discharge/transfer of patients from the hospital by providing clerical support. This position will be under the supervision of the Manager of Case Management. Education: High School Graduate or Equivalent Preferred Bachelor's Degree Preferred Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse Program Preferred Experience: 2 years Experience in Healthcare - Acute Inpatient or Healthcare - Ambulatory Required Certifications/Licensures: BLS Basic Life Support - American Heart Association Required within 90 days of hire and maintained while employed as a CMA Skills: Knowledge of medical terminology required. Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point). Ability to learn and navigate Electronic Health Record/EPIC and Allscripts systems. Work Shift:08.0 - 08:30 - 17:00 No Waive (United States of America) Pay Range: $31.89 - $43.05 Hourly Offer amounts are based on demonstrated/relevant experience and/or licensure. Pay will be adjusted to the local market if hired outside of the Bay Area. Note: Positions at JMH which are exempt (not eligible for overtime) under the level of Manager are listed as hourly for compensation purposes on this posting.
