*Description*
We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Technician to provide on-site support for all hardware within a manufacturing plant. This role involves setting up, configuring, installing, and maintaining end users' desktop computers and peripherals, both on the production line and in office environments. The ideal candidate will offer technical support for production and office personnel on computers, phones, and printers, and will be responsible for implementing and maintaining network servers, including active directory accounts. *Key Responsibilities:* * Provide on-site desktop support for all hardware in the manufacturing plant. * Setup, configure, install, and maintain end users' desktop computers and peripherals, both on the production line and in offices. * Offer technical support for production and office personnel on computers, phones, and printers. * Implement and maintain network servers, including active directory accounts. * Perform break/fix support for network, server, and end user devices. * Provide support for industrial printers. * Manage and track hardware inventory and e-waste. * Offer Windows 10 and Windows 11 support. * Support mobile RF devices and workstation PCs. * Perform other duties as required and assigned. *Essential Skills:* * Excellent problem-solving skills. * Ability to work under pressure. * Ability to make critical decisions in a timely manner. * Strong communication and writing skills. * Ability to multitask and prioritize numerous critical tasks. * Capability to cope with a demanding workload and fast-paced environment. *Required Skills:* * Desktop Support * Break/Fix * Printer Support * Troubleshooting * Windows 10 and Windows 11 Support *Top Skills Details:* * Desktop Support * Break/Fix * Printer Support * Troubleshooting *Additional Skills & Qualifications:* * Primarily responsible for keeping production computers operational. * Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues with routers or switches. * Experience with re-imaging computers as needed. * Must complete ladder training to reset wireless access points when necessary. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr. * Medical, dental & vision * Critical Illness, Accident, and Hospital * 401(k) Retirement Plan - Pre-tax and Roth post-tax contributions available * Life Insurance (Voluntary Life & AD&D for the employee and dependents) * Short and long-term disability * Health Spending Account (HSA) * Transportation benefits * Employee Assistance Program * Time Off/Leave (PTO, Vacation or Sick Leave) *Workplace Type* This is a fully onsite position in Tipp City,OH. *Application Deadline* This position is anticipated to close on Feb 7, 2025.
