*Key Skills and Requirements*
1. *Applications Development (3-5 years)*: The candidate must have practical development experience, with the ability to understand and assist their team as needed. Experience in ERP development is preferred. 2. *ERP/CRM*: The candidate should have experience with ERP or CRM teams. While PeopleSoft is currently used, a transition to a new system is anticipated within the next year, and strategic planning assistance is desired. 3. *Management*: The candidate should have team leadership experience. 4. *College Degree*: A college degree is required. *Job Description* The Associate Director of Enterprise Application Services for HR, Payroll, Business & Finance, and OnBase reports to the Director of Information Technology & Services. This role is responsible for the deployment and user experience of enterprise systems, including PeopleSoft Human Capital Management, Financials/Supply Chain, OnBase, and various integrated systems. The Associate Director collaborates with business unit leaders to understand their goals and optimize the use of both on-premises and cloud-based applications. The Associate Director oversees IT analysts/developers, managing tasks such as fit-gap analysis, solution design and development, troubleshooting, and problem-solving. Centralized IT analysis and decision-making ensure consistent security, accessibility, and usability standards. As part of the Enterprise Application Services leadership team, the Associate Director contributes to project planning for updates, upgrades, integrations, and customizations, including project analysis and management. *Requirements:* * Over five years of enterprise application experience with increasing responsibility. * A blend of functional and technical knowledge. * PeopleSoft and OnBase application experience is highly desirable. * Experience in higher education is preferred. * Participation in inclusion and accessibility programs. * Strong communication skills to translate functional goals into technical requirements and explain technical aspects to various audiences. * Ability to build relationships with key business units and advocate for enterprise application use, support, and training. * Analyze business needs to ensure enterprise applications meet expectations. * Monitor application use, map processes, analyze requirements, identify gaps, issues, risks, and suggest workflow improvements. * Lead decisions on custom modifications when appropriate. * Manage vendor relationships to understand product roadmaps. * Ensure the delivery of accessible applications. * Recruit, hire, set performance expectations, and provide feedback to encourage creativity, professional growth, accountability, and teamwork. * Manage the daily work of IT analysts/developers/administrators, including resolving issues, managing change requests, and overseeing projects for technical design and development. * Recognize and reward good performance, and address issues promptly and professionally. * Maintain application inventories and documentation, including business process guides and standard operating procedures. * Develop, track, and analyze key performance metrics to improve team effectiveness and efficiency. * Enhance the team's professional skills through trade magazines, manuals, seminars, and courses. * Participate in EAS leadership to define and manage project work. * Contribute to strategic direction through ITS leadership forums. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $55.00/hr.
