Our customer is undertaking a project in HR technology that involves the Workforce Planning & Position Management areas. They need a Sr. Business Analyst to assist with it. The right candidate will be a true BA who has good experience working with the SuccessFactors HR technology platform (HCM/HRIS systems). The candidate must also have 2+ years working as a BA on an SAP SuccessFactors project, and be familiar with the Workforce Planning and Position Mangagement areas. They are NOT looking for a systems analyst, developer or for a functional person to configure SuccessFactors - this person needs to be a true Business Analyst. They have an internal developer and systems analyst who will perform configuration and development. The right person will possess the following skills: - 6+ years experience as an IT Business Analyst - 3+ years experience as a BA on HR technology systems, with specific experience in SuccessFactors - Knowledge of SuccessFactors best practices and ability to challenge IT or functional analysts when needed - Knowledge of the Workforce Planning, Employee Central and Position Management areas of SuccessFactors - ability to elicit requirements from the business (speak in layman's terms) and translate those to the technical team - be great at facilitating meetings - create Visio diagrams, including ability to document current state processes - great presentation skills, especially in front of executive leadership - very strong documentation skills - act as a liaison between non-technical Sr. leaders and the systems/technical analysts Critical and necessary soft skills include: - proactive mindset; not wait to be told what to do - leadership skills; ability to lead discussions diplomatically and gain consensus - energetic personality - outstanding oral and written communication skills Client HIGHLY prefers candidates local to Colorado or Calgary so the consultant can come onsite periodically, but may accept out of state candidates if we can't source a local one. Vast majority of the work will be done remotely so travel will be minimal (no more than once every couple of months). Knowledge of methods and techniques for business analysis and demonstrated skill in their application to solving business problems are essential. Education/Experience * 8+ years in the IT industry with experience as an IT Business Analyst * Experience building strong working relationships with business and IT stakeholders * SAP experience is desirable * CBAP certification is an strong plus * Experience with SuccessFactors is required Skills * Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills. * Proven analytical and leadership skills in projects delivering IT-based business solutions. * Proven ability to support the team and help where/when needed - a hands-on approach. * A client-focused mindset, delivering superior customer results and service. * Strong facilitation and presentation capabilities combined with consensus-building skills. * Desire to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic and complex environment. * Strong analytical and detail-oriented mindset. * Possess QA (Testing) execution and leadership experience. Experience with ALM a plus.
