Position: Clinical Research Coordinator III, Pediatrics

Location: Boston, MA

Schedule: 40 hours per week

POSITION SUMMARY:

Under the umbrella of the Massachusetts Perinatal Neonatal Quality Improvement Network (PNQIN), the CRC III will maintain project databases, create and administer project surveys, performs administrative tasks for PNQIN projects, assist with budget monitoring, and help to organize all logistics of PNQIN statewide events (ex: webinars, summits, workshops). Prepares data reports in coordination with the data analyst, maintains the PNQIN website, and oversees the work of research assistants.

This is a senior level role that requires strong organizational and interpersonal skills, working as a liaison with multiple statewide stakeholders collaborating with PNQIN. Must be able to work independently, identify problems, and develop sound solutions.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Maintains on-going communication with the PNQIN Administrative Director, principal investigators, project leads, project managers, and statewide stakeholders related to PNQIN projects as a liaison.
  • Provides administrative oversight of assigned PNQIN projects, including meeting scheduling, meeting agendas, meeting minutes, action item creation. Maintains databases related to assigned PNQIN projects in coordination with the data analyst, providing regular reports to participating hospital teams.
  • Facilitates PNQIN workshops and webinars, including registration, marketing, materials, and slides in coordination with the principal investigators and project leads.
  • Facilitates PNQIN summits in coordination with the central PNQIN team, including assistance with speakers, advertisement, and logistical planning for the events (CME application, speaker disclosures, collection of slides, creation of handouts, etc).


  • Creates slides and agendas for larger PNQIN meetings in coordination with the central PNQIN team. Maintains PNQIN listserv and team rosters and updates PNQIN website and on-line toolkits
  • Draft any required annual reports for grants related to assigned PNQIN projects. Meet regularly with principal investigators and project leads to ensure projects are moving forward.
  • On-board and supervise any research assistants working on the project on things like data collection and event planning activities.
  • May be responsible for IRB and regulatory aspects related to the PNQIN projects, including maintenance of regulatory files.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:


  • Master's Degree and 5 years of relevant experience OR
  • Bachelor's Degree and 7+ years of relevant experience
  • Special Continuous Project Responsibilities-QA/QI
  • Supervisory experience preferred.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:


  • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to effectively interact with all levels of staff
  • Must have ability to supervise others, identify problems and develop sound solutions.
  • Must be detail oriented and have the ability to follow through
  • Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize workload.
  • Ability to prepare/monitor budgets and prioritize tasks
  • Knowledge of data management programs.
