About the role

As an IT Security Analyst with FIS, your skills will be put to the test on the front lines of cyber-crime. Information security is at the heart of fintech, and you'll help protect and secure highly sensitive financial data for customers around the world.

About the team

FIS' PCI Assurance (aka PCI Ninjas) provide an assurance/ oversight function to FIS Operating Groups. We are advocates for FIS within the larger Payments Security Community, having a seat on multiple PCI Council boards and the Payment Processor Information Sharing Community (PPISC), and a challenge function to product/application teams to ensure they are meeting PCI requirements and FIS policy.

PCI Ninjas have an expertise in PCI Compliance, while also being experts in the specific environments/ products/ applications in scope for the individual assessments, monitoring PCI BAU milestones, project managing assessments, and liaise between external QSAs and our internal operations teams.

This team is on the cutting edge of cybersecurity within the largest FinTech in the world!

What you will be doing

  • You will provide oversight of Payment Card Industry (PCI) processing environments and PCI DSS assessment project management including collection, evaluation and retention of evidence; monitoring results of vulnerability scans and remediation; monitor results of Application and Network Penetration Testing and remediation efforts for compliance with FIS policy and PCI DSS Requirements.

  • You will develop and maintain an understanding of PCI DSS Requirements, Testing Procedures, and Reporting Templates.

  • You will review significant PCI security events and advise business owners of action steps required to meet PCI DSS Requirements.

  • You will create information security documentation related to work area and complete requests in accordance with company requirements.

  • You will identify opportunities and execute plans to improve workflow, understand and quantify business impacts of those improvements for communication to management.

What you will need

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Information Security, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, or relevant field of study

  • Fluent in English with strong written communication skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. (particular focus on Excel and PowerPoint)

  • A professional demeanor including the ability to interact directly with employees, managers, and executives at all levels of the organization.

  • Strong ability to work independently and within a team to meet project deadlines and department goals.

  • A high degree of attention to detail.

Added bonus if you have

  • Current industry certifications. (CISA, CISSP, ISA, PCIP, etc.)

  • Prior PCI DSS or other PCI Standard assessment and/or operational experience.

  • Working knowledge or experience in at least one of the following areas: Information Security auditing, IT Control testing/development, Network/Perimeter security, Server/Endpoint security. (Windows, Oracle, Unix, Mainframe)

  • Prior onsite assessment, risk assessment, or internal audit experience.
