The Role

Are you a marketing and communications professional who is unafraid to think differently, always going the extra mile, and keeps current on the latest marketing trends? QuidelOrtho has a long history of being the premier customer experience leader in the diagnostic market. We are seeking a Senior Global Marketing Manager to join our team to serve as the global brand and marketing ambassador for the brand strategy, marketing campaign strategy and tactics for QuidelOrtho services and products around the globe. The ideal candidate will have experience in B2B technology product or software marketing (preferred) and/or B2B professional customer experience and/or services marketing, with the ability to drive and manage the marketing strategy and messaging for the organization. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for the brand and requires a high degree of collaboration.

Location: Preferred candidates to be based at our HQ in Summers Ridge, San Diego, CA.

Alternate locations can be considered for Raritan, NJ or Rochester, NY or Dallas, TX. Hybrid work arrangements will be considered.

The Responsibilities
  • Develop strategy for end-to-end, global multi-channel marketing campaigns for product and service offerings

  • Provide subject matter expertise and guidance to cross functional and supporting teams to ensure quality development and seamless execution of campaign tactics and sales collateral.

  • Build, and provide oversight of marketing processes for campaign briefs, branding, messaging, marketing collateral development, lead generation and nurturing, and marketing campaign strategy and execution

  • Capture results and conduct metrics and ROI analysis to assess success and inform campaign development

  • Comfort with drafting a variety of different types of content, including but not limited to messaging, internal communications, sales materials, etc

  • Drive strategic communications planning with cross functional teams and agencies

  • Ability to lead and influence in matrix organization.

  • Perform other work related duties as assigned.

  • Internal Customers: Global Strategic Marketing, Regional Marketing, Global Services Leadership Team, Global Information Systems, Learning and Development

  • External Customers: Diagnostics Laboratory professionals, Marketing Agencies

The Individual

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree, ideally with a focus in Marketing or a related business or technology field with 5+ years of relevant B2B marketing/sales experience

  • Experience in marketing technology products or B2B software is required for this role

  • Deep understanding of integrated marketing and communications strategies and how they come together to provide measurable results

  • An innovative mindset that can think strategically with a willingness to execute tactically

  • Strong organizational and project management skills - with ability to prioritize and manage expectations across multiple, complex projects/priorities with aggressive due dates and quick turn-around times

  • Detail-oriented with excellent follow-through skills

  • Strong persuasive written and verbal communication skills - able to expertly position and tell compelling stories around our offerings and influence both internal and external audiences

  • Proficient in MS Office suite including Word, Excel and PowerPoint (intermediate to advanced skills in PowerPoint are a plus)

  • This position is not currently eligible for visa sponsorship.

  • Travel up to 30%

Work Environment

This role is performed in an office setting, onsite or from a home office.

Physical Demands

No strenuous physical activity, though occasional light lifting of files and related materials. 30% travel required, including domestic and global. Travel includes airplane, automobile travel and overnight hotel.

Salary Transparency

The salary range for this position takes into account a wide range of factors including education, experience, knowledge, skills, geography, and abilities of the candidate, in addition to internal equity and alignment with market data. At QuidelOrtho, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The salary range for this position is $130,000 to $150,000 and is bonus eligible. QuidelOrtho offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, along with a 401(k) plan, employee assistance program, Employee Stock Purchase Plan, paid time off (including sick time), and paid Holidays. All benefits are non-contractual, and QuidelOrtho may amend, terminate, or enhance the benefits provided, as it deems appropriate.
