About This Role:
Kansas State University is seeking a detail-oriented and independently driven Fiscal Analyst I to provide comprehensive financial analysis and post-award accounting support within the College of Agriculture. This role is responsible for monitoring, managing, and reporting on all financial aspects of sponsored activity once awarded. The Fiscal Analyst I position serves as the primary point of contact between the departmental and both the Pre-Award and Post Award offices, ensuring effective communication and ensuring seamless coordination for all grant activities. This role is responsible for monitoring project budgets and preparing expenditure projection reports and managing all of the financial aspects of grants once awarded. This includes such things as tracking expenditures, ensuring compliance with grant regulations, and preparing financial reports, analyzing the financial and accounting data to keep principal investigators (PIs), department/college management informed on the financial status of the projects and programs, and properly closing out the grant at the end of the project or program.
