*Job Summary:*
The Revenue Cycle Specialist is responsible for managing and optimizing the entire revenue cycle process from patient registration and insurance verification to coding, billing, and collections. This role ensures accurate and timely submission of claims, efficient payment posting, and resolution of any discrepancies to maximize revenue and minimize losses. *Key Responsibilities:* * Performs financial investigations to determine debtors ability to pay * Sets up payment plans; performs phone collections to various sources * Performs mail collections by using a prescribed set of dunning and/or specialized correspondence * Recommends rebilling to third parties if appropriate * Refers accounts to outside collection agencies * Follows through with wage execution/property liens * Recommends referrals to small claims court * Enters claims into small claims court *Shift: *7:30 - 4pm, Mon - Friday *Experience Needed:* * Psychiatric Billing * Epic * Medical Claims Denials * Insurance Follow Up *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr. * Medical, dental & vision * Critical Illness, Accident, and Hospital * 401(k) Retirement Plan - Pre-tax and Roth post-tax contributions available * Life Insurance (Voluntary Life & AD&D for the employee and dependents) * Short and long-term disability * Health Spending Account (HSA) * Transportation benefits * Employee Assistance Program * Time Off/Leave (PTO, Vacation or Sick Leave) *Workplace Type* This is a fully remote position. *Application Deadline* This position is anticipated to close on Feb 12, 2025.
