Join T-Mobile's Broadband BI Data Engineering team as a Product Owner and play a key role in shaping the future of our data-driven initiatives. As a Product Owner, you'll act as the critical link between business stakeholders and the Data Engineering team, ensuring clarity of priorities, alignment with business goals, and delivery of high-value solutions. Your leadership will drive the development of data platforms, reporting frameworks, and operational tools that support decision-making and enhance customer experiences.

Product Vision and Strategy
Define and articulate a product vision and roadmap that supports the team's long-term goals and aligns with organizational priorities. Identify and assess business needs through collaboration with stakeholders, ensuring that the team delivers high-value, impactful solutions. Clearly communicate the "why" behind product initiatives to the team and stakeholders, fostering alignment and enthusiasm for the team's work.
Backlog Management and Prioritization
Maintain and refine the product backlog, ensuring it accurately reflects business priorities and technical requirements. Break down high-level goals into well-defined features, epics, and user stories with clear acceptance criteria. Work with the Data Engineering team to estimate effort and prioritize tasks based on business value, feasibility, and dependencies.
Stakeholder Collaboration
Act as the primary liaison between stakeholders and the Data Engineering team, ensuring continuous alignment on goals and expectations. Facilitate regular conversations with stakeholders to gather feedback, refine requirements, and adjust priorities based on evolving needs. Balance competing priorities and make trade-off decisions to maximize impact while managing stakeholder expectations effectively.
Team Enablement and Delivery
Partner closely with the Data Engineering team to remove roadblocks, clarify requirements, and ensure smooth execution of sprint deliverables. Facilitate sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives, ensuring the team remains focused and aligned. Foster an Agile mindset within the team, encouraging collaboration, iteration, and a focus on delivering value incrementally.
Process Improvement and Impact
Continuously assess and improve processes to ensure efficient and effective product delivery. Advocate for best practices in communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement, helping the team deliver solutions that meet both business and technical needs. Celebrate team successes and identify areas for growth, creating a culture of continuous improvement and learning.
Skills and Experience Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Advance degree preferred. 5 years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role, preferably in a technology or data-related environment. Exceptional ability to translate business needs into actionable deliverables, ensuring alignment between technical teams and stakeholders. Experience managing product roadmaps, backlogs, and priorities in an Agile or Scrum environment. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to build trust and collaboration across teams. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. Familiarity with data-driven tools and processes is a plus, but a strong focus on stakeholder engagement and product delivery is essential. At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee's eligible earnings in the prior year.
