Job Summary: Responsible for the creation of product content for multiple brands in the swimming pool and outdoor living industry. Improves existing content creating search optimized content. Responsibilities: A key contributor to POOLCORP's ecommerce site. Researches products, writes compelling and accurate product related content. Ensures product copy is written for the target audience, is grammatically correct, and follows the standards set forth. Manages and updates content within the product information system and other tools. Proofreads and edits content produced by other team members as needed. Preferred Skills: Ability to create original product content. Writing samples required upon request. Ability to successfully balance quality of work with quantity of work. Ability to manage and effectively prioritize multiple projects. Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills. Capable of following written instructions and documented procedures. Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications, intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Teams, and SharePoint. Prior use of collaboration software is required. Experience working with inRiver or other Product Information Management (PIM) systems is a plus. Experience developing keyword strategies a plus. Swimming Pool and Outdoor Living industry experience is preferred. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, or Communications. 1-3 years related work experience in the development of product content, digital marketing, and/or Product Information Management preferred.
