Description Acara Solutions is seeking a Senior CNC Machinist for our client in Bloomington, MN! We are seeking qualified candidates with: A strong background in CNC Machining Experience setting up, operating, and programming CNC Lathe machines A motivated demeanor with strong problem-solving abilities! Here's what you'll do: Run and monitor parts to customer specifications. Verify the existing or create new CNC programs as per the production requirements. Machine set-up, adjust and change tooling as needed. Inspect parts during process to ensure quality and customer requirements are met. Perform 1^st level maintenance tasks (liquid check and refill, filter status, etc.) Position Type: Direct Placement Pay: $26+/hr. Minimum 4 years' experience setting up, operating, and programming CNC Lathe machines (ideally EuroTech). Minimum 4 years' experience using micrometers, calipers, and gauges. Preferred Skills / Qualifications: Strong math and blueprint reading skills. Knowledge of G&M codes, ideally with Mitsubishi controls/programming. Excellent communication skills. Highly motivated with a positive attitude! Physical Requirements:** Standing for long periods at a time, up to 2-3 hours. Lifting up to 30 lbs. Repetitive motion, including loading and unloading parts into a machine. Working with oil and water-based coolant.
